Noemi Csaba

Noemi is associate professor at the Department of Pharmacology, Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology and Principal Investigator at CIMUS. Her research stayed at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Department of Chemistry and Applied Biosciences, ETH Zurich, Switzerland (2005-2007). She had more than 40 scientific publications, >1700 citations, H-index: 21. She is also advisor in national and international funding agencies.

Sheila Barrios Esteban

Sheila finished her Chemistry studies in the University of Salamanca and an Interuniversity Master in Research in Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry at the University of Santiago de Compostela. During her professional development as a researcher she has participated in projects through external internships and the Final Master's Project at CIQUS. She is currently completing his fourth year of doctorate in the drug R&D program focused on the development of polymeric nanoparticles for the treatment of glioblastoma multiforme by gene therapy. She was awarded with a grant from the British Spanish Society Scholarship Program.

Sandra Robla

Sandra finished her Pharmacy degree studies in the University Complutense de Madrid and she studied Drug Research and Development master in University of Santiago de Compostela. Currently, she is in her third year at PhD program of drug R&D in the Center for Research in Molecular Medicine and Chronic Diseases (CIMUS) under the supervision of Prof. Noemi Csaba, and she is working in the development of natural biomimetic platforms for mucosal drug delivery. She also collaborates with Dr. Nacho Alcalde from Fernandez Vega ophthalmological institute (University of Oviedo) and with Dra. Rita Ambrus from Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology and Regulatory Affairs (University of Szeged, Hungary).

Lorena Valverde

Lorena studied her Pharmacy degree in the University of Santiago de Compostela. Last year, she start her career as a scientific in our group studying the Master on Investigation and Development of Drugs offered by the Faculty of Pharmacy.

She has just begun the PhD program of drug research and development in the Center for Research in Molecular Medicine and Chronic Diseases (CIMUS) of University of Santiago de Compostela, under the supervision of Prof. Noemi Csaba.
