Rocio & Lorena scholarships
Our predoctoral student Rocío Mellid Carballal has obtained in December
2021 a FPU (University Teacher Training) scholarship for the development of her
doctorate in the Biomaterials & Drug Delivery group at the CiMUS (University of Santiago de
Compostela) under the supervision of professors Marcos García Fuentes and
Carmen Rivas. His doctoral project focuses on the development of novel
virus-like particle-based nanosystems with several potential medical
applications, such as vaccination or drug delivery.
Likewise, our predoctoral student Lorena Valverde Fraga has been the beneficiary of an Initiation to Research contract for doctoral students from Cimus with a duration of 12 months (06/2021 Plaza 2019-PG062).
This good news makes us feel very proud of our colleagues and of the
scientific baggage of our group.
