Lonza Biologics

This Friday, we visited Lonza Biologics laboratories in Porriño, Pontevedra, with our PhD and drug R&D Masters students, accompanied by Professor Mariana Landín. 

This center constitutes the largest biotechnological plant for the production of cancer compounds in Spain. During the visit, we can learn about this clinical and commercial facility, which is specialized in custom manufacturing of recombinant proteins, scale-up and GMP-based manufacturing services. It was a very interesting journey!
