3rd SPLC-CRS Virtual Meeting 2021

As in previous years but following a different format due to the current situation of Covid-19, our group has attended the young virtual meeting SPLC-CRS. During the journey we were able to enjoy different talks by invited speakers such as Dimitrios Lamprou, Jean Christophe Leroux or Kathryn A. Whitehead.
We could also attend various brief oral communications by young scientists, encompassed in different sections, related with delivery of biomacromolecules and oligonucleotides, oral, mucosal and transdermal administration or targeted drug administration, among others. Our partner Sheila Barrios presented her work on "Protamine-based nanoparticles: an attractor gene delivery system for 2D and 3D glioblastoma models". Finally, several parallel poster meeting sessions took place, in which the rest of the group presented their work: our partner Rocío Mellid presented her latest progress on "Polymeric nanocomplexes based on Ebola viru-like particle", Sara Gutiérrez Gutiérrez spoke about "Innovative insect-based cell-free technology to synthesize the Ebola virus VP40 matrix protein Virus-like particles (VLP)", our colleague Héctor Rilo-Álvarez defended his work on "mRNA reprogramming matrices as gene delivery systems for cartilage repair" and finally Sandra Robla explained her work on "nanocarrier loaded pollen microcapsules as an oral administration platform".
